Lars Boering (FotografenFederatie)

Lars Boering has been actively involved with photography for several years. As the director of the Federation of Dutch Professional photographers he is working on improving the position of photographers and is helping them to safeguarding their copyright.
By presenting a bi-monthly talk show in Amsterdam and with the Rotterdam photomuseum he created a series of networking events where people involved in the photo industry can meet up. This network resulted in many photographers obtaining new assignments, meeting editors and being part of national and international exhibitions. Boering is a certified moderator.

He is an advisor to several (young) photographers and has (co)produced exhibitions with photographers, Festivals, museums and art foundations.
He is working together with several professional partners actively involved in the publishing and advertising business. Together they add different opinions on and solutions to the projects they work on.
In 2010 he co founded the successful master class 'advanced story telling' at Noorderlicht.com where he still teaches.

Specialties: Moderating events and meetings, program development for exhibitions and events, marketing and business skills for photographers, advising artist on funding their projects and helping them to improve their entrepreneurial skills.
